Product placement in any form of media secretly, is a way to get a target market to recognize a brand or product. This is an old trick that was highly successful in advertising many products. Such as cigarettes in movies. This is also a prime example of covert advertising. Which in general is widely popular in movies and TV series.
As the term “covert” implies, the goal of this style of advertising is to merge advertising with non-promotional channels. This tactic is most typical to movies. For example, product billboards featured in the film for an extended period of time. Alternatively, a character in the film may repeatedly mention the brand’s name. At times, the filmmaker may present the product as a component of the film. Take, for example, the automobiles seen in a number of action films. If someone wanted to promote some new product they could make a Marvel superhero wear it in one of the movies. You can guess the speed with which the fans of the superhero would sell out the product.
From the examples above, it can be concluded that covert advertising, as subtle by nature as it is, is by far one of the top most productive forms of advertising. Even more, more subtly done covert advertising is, better its effect. If the audience is subconsciously tricked into converting to your service or product, the goal of the creator of a covert advertisement has been effectively achieved. Covert advertising is very popular in modern times.
Work smart, not hard - that’s a motto I’ve lived with my whole life. I have always been motivated to do so, and believe everyone should follow the same philosophy. My passion for learning has always been intense, even though I never joined a University. It never even crossed my mind. I believe anyone can be self-taught if determined, given the right resources. The internet was my source of education. Over time, I taught myself everything I needed to know online; and decided to create the same opportunity for others. I've always loved a challenge, and starting this website was my way of challenging myself.
