If you’re anything like I was when I first started in Internet marketing, you looked for anything you could to make it in the Internet business for as cheap as you possibly could. With so many questions in safelist marketing that I get everyday, I decided to post some of the most popular ones here to hopefully help everyone that may have questions with safe list marketing.
A safelist is a group of people who opt-in to a list or group on the Internet that agree to receive emails from others in the group, called a safelist.
How much do safelists cost to join?
Nothing! That is the beauty of safelist marketing is that you never have to pay a dime to get your website in front of millions of people everyday.
Should I upgrade my safelist account?
Of course by upgrading your account will support the owners of the safelist account and by doing so they will offer you more tools and credits to your account to only help you reach more people in your marketing. But, if you’re just starting out on a shoestring budget, it is not necessary to be a success.
How many safelist should I advertise with?
I would recommend that you market to 40-50 safelist everyday.
How long does it take to get results?
This all depends on the number of safelist that you advertise in everyday. Think of it as a numbers game, the more people that see your website, the more that will buy or join. I advertise to 40-50 per day and usually get 4-5 signups per day in my business.
Should I use links in my emails?
As you start signing up with safelist you will notice that 99% of them will ask for two different email addresses. One will be for the admin to contact you and the other will be for the list to email you with their advertisements. I would recommend getting a free Gmail email account at http://www.gmail.com just for your safelist “list” emails.
Can I track my safelist results?
Yes, there are many tools out there that you can use to track your results. Go to Google and search for “Link Tracker” and you will get plenty to choose from. I use a company called HitsConnect and like them very much.
Will my email account fill up?
If you’re doing things correct then yes. That is why I again recommend that you get a separate email account rather than using your personal email.
Can I be accused of spam?
It’s not likely because most companies you will be working with have used a double opt-in process. If you do, you would just need to show proof to your ISP that you had rights to email them which you will be able to show them that you are a member of the company that emailed them and that they too are members.
